Case Study: Affiliate Marketing & SEO Content Infrastructure
How conversion-focused publishing infrastructure combined technical SEO, commercial-intent content, and iterative CTA testing.
The challenge
The goal was to create content properties that did more than rank. Every page needed to function as a clear path from organic discovery to a useful product decision and an attributable conversion.
The approach
The infrastructure used custom-domain WordPress and Blogger sites. WordPress supported deeper technical control, while Blogger provided a lightweight publishing option for selected properties.
Content focused on commercial-intent searches: product reviews, comparisons, buying guides, and decision-stage queries. Pages were structured with clear summaries, comparison blocks, pros and cons, pricing context, and relevant calls to action.
Technical work
- Flat site architecture for crawlability
- Product, Review, FAQ, and Breadcrumb schema markup
- WebP image optimisation and lazy loading
- Core Web Vitals improvements
- CTA-position and merchant-performance testing
Result
One performance cycle achieved 10,700+ clicks, 970+ successful orders, and a 9.53% conversion rate.
